In the Aliomenti Saga, Alex Albrinck manages to precariously balance fiction, sci-fi and time travel in a truly amazing reading experience.

In this series, we follow the story of Will, a technological genius living with his family in a secure neighborhood of his design…which turns out to be not so secure as a group of assassins murder his wife and son. This sends Will on a journey through time to witness and be a part of the founding of the Aliomenti: A group of immortal people with originally noble intentions who, through him, acquire the technology of the future and gain power throughout the world. However, just like everything in the world, things are not as easy as they appear.

In general, Albrinck’s style is easy and descriptive enough to help readers picture the settings of the story as much as possible, which makes The Aliomenti Saga a very interesting read that I would recommend to both sci-fi and fiction fans alike.
