Imaginary Memories

imagnSome people crave to remember

Their memories of a deceased member

Some people pray to totally forget

Memories of disastrous regret

And yet there are others

Who ignored the good advice

Given by their brothers

And it came at a terrible price

However there are a few

Who realized what was true

And understood the work of their mind

In which there’s a huge treasure to find

If this treasure is misused

A dreadful curse it will incur

And the dreamer gets confused

About the life which becomes a blur

But if it’s righteously practiced

The dreamer will be blessed

With imaginations full of lovely bliss

And strange beauties you can’t miss

In a dream you cannot know

Whether you’re going to or fro

You cannot even comprehend

All the truths you get to blend

In that dream you may mistake

If you are fast asleep or wide awake

But if you’re awake by a chance

Then what you’re doing is create

Though in a daydreaming trance

In your thoughts a world is great

Planned to your taste in full detail

Perfect in every little way you see

Whatever you do you cannot fail

And what you love you get to be

This is your true dream land

Where none else may ever go

A kingdom fair, great and grand

In between sand and snow
